Full Time Position in our Lettings Department

Lettings Manager

The Lettings Manager would be responsible for the smooth running of the Lettings Department and is required to have a thorough knowledge of the Lettings market and relevant legislation; with the ability to effectively build, manage and maintain a motivated team of staff.

Leading by example, the Lettings Manager should set the standard when dealing with Landlords, tenants and members of staff from other offices and possess the drive to take the department forward in all areas whilst ensuring that quality of service is never compromised.

 Duties include:

         Monitoring overall and individual performance of the lettings team including property managers, administrators and co-coordinators

         Being aware of competitor performance and activity and general market conditions

         Liaising with company directors on staff performance, market conditions and any issues that may arise

         Maintaining a strong relationship with all Landlords to help you acquire future business and provide quality feedback when properties being marketed

         Overseeing and contributing to any marketing ideas/campaigns

         Ensuring property register is maintained and appropriate marketing reviews undertaken

         Recruiting staff, authorising staff holidays and arranging cover where needed

         Producing statistics for company directors and corporate landlords

         Dealing with any complaints

Essential skills for this role:

         Strong negotiation skills

         Experience of managing and motivating a team in a busy lettings environment

         Excellent customer service and communications skills

         Full understanding of legal requirements relating to the industry

         Excellent understanding of the current market climate and market forecasts

         Fully IT literate in property related software and general admin packages

         To be self-motivated and organised

         Industry recognised qualifications such as NFOPP or ARLA would be advantageous but not essential

 Salary is negotiable depending on experience
